Our History

 

Sky Drone Surveys began with a passion for drone technology and aerial exploration. What started as a personal hobby quickly grew into something more meaningful when we began assisting local farmers with aerial surveys. Using drones, we helped locate livestock and track lost or injured animals across large areas of land, tasks that would otherwise take hours or even days on foot.

 

As demand for these services increased, our work expanded into agricultural surveys, helping farmers monitor crops, assess land conditions, and gain valuable aerial insight into their fields.

 

Recognising the wider potential of drone technology, we then began working with property owners and real estate professionals, providing aerial photography and video that showcase properties and land from a completely new perspective.

 

Today, Sky Drone Surveys has grown into a professional drone services company with qualified pilots holding A2 CofC and GVC certifications, ensuring all operations are conducted safely, legally, and in full compliance with UK Civil Aviation Authority regulations.

 

We now support clients in construction, real estate, and insurance, offering services such as roof inspections, roof mapping, thermal imaging inspections, 3D modelling, construction site monitoring, and high-resolution aerial surveys. By combining advanced drone technology with professional expertise, we help businesses inspect buildings safely, monitor projects efficiently, and capture accurate aerial data without the need for costly or risky manual inspections.
